A liquid applied over the factory clear coat that cures into a hard, chemically bonded layer. It is not a wax sitting on the surface: it becomes part of the paint system. The result is a slicker, more hydrophobic finish that resists etching from rain, bird droppings and UV, and washes far more easily. Graphene is the newer chemistry. The Artdeshine Nano Graphene V3 we install is harder and more flexible than standard ceramic, so it moves with the panel instead of micro-cracking. It also retains less heat, which is noticeable on black and dark metallic cars parked in the open, and it disperses water faster. Interior detailing starts at SGD 100 and takes about an hour. Polishing starts at SGD 238. A three-year ceramic coating runs from SGD 488 for a small car up to SGD 588 for an extra large or exotic car, and a five-year graphene coating from SGD 688. Every quote is all-in: claying, chemical wash and machine polishing are included rather than charged as preparation.

Three years for ceramic, five for graphene, both backed in writing. Singapore is harder on paint than most places, with constant UV, heavy rain and high humidity, so what really decides the lifespan is washing. A coated car washed with pH-neutral shampoo and topped up at a maintenance session every three months will see out its lifespan comfortably. Fortnightly trips through an automated brush wash will not.

A wax sits on top of the clear coat and Singapore rain takes it off in weeks. A coating bonds chemically and stays for years, which is why it comes with a written warranty and a wax never does. Beyond two years of ownership the coating is cheaper per month, and the paint ends up in better condition when you sell.

Almost always, and it is already in the price. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so applying one over swirl marks and water spots preserves them for three years. We clay, chemical-wash and machine-polish first, then bond the coating. On a brand new car the polishing step is lighter, but the decontamination still happens.

Yes, at any residential address in Singapore. We carry our own water, power and inspection lighting, so nothing depends on your building. A covered or sheltered lot is preferable for coating work, because the surface has to stay dry through the cure. If we need to change the parking spot for service, we will tell you on arrival to make sure your coating lasts.
